This past weekend members of George's Shell attended the Think Kukui 2015 Trade Show and Awards in San Jose, CA. We are very proud to announce that Doug Whiteman and Linda Whiteman won an award for Humanitarians of the Year! Kukui CEO Todd Westerlund presented the award, citing Doug and Linda's efforts in helping employees and community involvement. The Kukui Awards closed the "Think Kukui 15" trade show, which was held at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, CA. AAA Approved Auto Repair Shop Receives National Recognition From: AAA Approved Auto Repair Two AAA Approved Auto Repair facilities in Southern California and one facility in the AAA East Central market were named in Motor Age magazine's top 10 auto repair shops for 2014. ​George's Sierra Shell in Fontana, Calif., and RM Automotive in Northridge, Calif., and Rad Air Complete Car Care made the annual "Top Shop" list and are featured in this month's issue of the magazine. Doug Whiteman, owner of George's Sierra Shell, is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Master Technician, a Certified Undercar Specialist and the 2008 Los Angeles ASE Technician of the Year. George's Sierra Shell is an AAR facility since 2008, a NAPA Auto Care Center, and a part of the Automotive Training institute (ATI). On Tuesday, January 13th we at George's Sierra Shell received special recognition from the Fontana City Council. The Council sought out to recognize George's Shell for winning Motor Age Magazine's "Top Shop" in the nation honor. Mayor Aquanetta Warren described visiting George's Shell as "visiting your friends". We received a standing ovation from the crowd in attendance, which was an amazing feeling! City Council members in attendance were Michael Tahan, Lydia Wibert, Mayor Aquanetta Warren and Council Members John Roberts and Jesse Sandoval.
